How to play: CROSS

A 5×5 mini crossword with fresh clues every day. Fill the grid as fast as you can and check your letters when you are unsure.

  1. A small crossword: five by five, a handful of clues, black squares like the real thing.
  2. Tap a square and type a letter. Tap the same square again to switch between across and down.
  3. Use "Check" to mark wrong letters, or reveal a single letter if you are stuck.
  4. The timer stops when every letter is right. Beat your own average time.
